Orie is the President and CEO of the Event Group. Twenty-two years ago Orie had a vision—that high school students should have access to the same type of events that were being put on for adults. Under Orie’s direction, The Event Group trail blazed the high school event industry by making the shift from hotels to unique venues. With a client base that ranges from the Bay Area all the way down to San Diego, the Event Group’s reputation as the premier High School Event planning company precedes them wherever they go. Orie vision has clearly become the standard in the industry and will continue to be so in years to come.
Pam is the senior member of The Event Group-So. Cal team. With over ten years experience in Sales, Marketing, and Event Operations, Pam oversees the initial and final stages of the event planning process—including site tours, coordinating meetings and serving as consultant to school’s planning committees. Pam’s dedication and commitment are readily apparent in the response we receive from students, teachers and administrators alike.
Ami is affectionately known as the Prom Queen without the tiara. She has planned all types of High School events since 1995 and still loves it as much today as on day one. Ami is an expert on all of the Bay Area facilities, has access to the coolest DJ's and uses caterers with the most delicious food. Her wealth of knowledge and down to earth, honest style makes Ami the San Francisco Bay Area school's favorite Event Planner.
Dianna has been involved in event planning for over six years. She carefully works with the planning committee to consider their budget, theme ideas, group size, and desired look to find the perfect spot for their event. Dianna also helps arrange the beginning details to ensure success every time. If you don't know where to start, she is the perfect one to guide you through the stress-free process.
As one of our more senior members of staff, Vanessa has been with The Event Group for over eight years. A self-professed "geek" in regards to Event-planning, Vanessa derives pleasure from a solid track record of ensuring every event is superbly designed and executed, within a budget you can afford and is enjoyed by all who attend.
She diligently and attentively works with your school to find a site that is perfect for your needs and budget. After your location is chosen, Vanessa works closely with the Prom committee in the creative process of determining theme, menus, decor, and entertainment. She is the liaison between the students and vendors in order to facilitate a smoother planning process. Vanessa intricately organizes and communicates every last detail to all the vendors in order to re-create the students' vision of their ideal event.
Patty is part of the Event Coordination Team. She is involved in the day to day process of planning the events. She takes part in site tours, coordinating meetings and performs various office duties. Together with Pam, she works closely with the venues and vendors to ensure only the best products and services are offered to our clients.
Heather is part of the Operations Team. She is involved in the day to day process of planning the events. She takes part in site tours, coordinating meetings and performs various office duties. Together with Pam, she works closely with the venues and vendors to ensure only the best products and services are offered to our clients. Heather was involved in planning events at her high school and her experience as a past client gives us an insight to what schools expect and need from their planners.
Stephanie is part of the sales team. She takes part in all of th front office duties as well as going to sales meetings and site tours. She works under Dianna to help planning committee's start the process of finding the perfect location for their event.
